Laurence A. Butler is a seasoned technology professional with a passion for self-directed learning and competency-based education & training. Laurence holds degrees in Business, Cybersecurity & Information Assurance, Cyber-Accounting, and is currently working towards a Doctor of Technology degree from the University of Purdue. Laurence holds multiple business and technology experienced based certifications such as IIA’s Certified Internal Auditor, ISACA’s CISA, CISM, and CRISC certifications, ISC2 Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP),and PMI’s PMP, PMI-RMP, PMI-ACP, and PMI-SP certifications.

Laurence accepted his position with Calbright College as his ethical and strategic goals aligned with Calbright College’s commitment to increasing economic mobility and closing equity gaps for working adults, the organization’s strong commitment to Diversity, Equity, and inclusion, and being a subject matter expert in business and Technology.

Laurence is a believer in the Latin phrase - Audere est facere meaning “to dare is to do.”
