Anthony Gittens

Dr. Anthony C. Gittens, DrPH, MPH, CHES, is an accomplished public health consultant with expertise in health equity, program evaluation, and community engagement. He holds a Doctor of Public Health and a Master of Public Health from Loma Linda University. His professional experience includes leadership in population health management, health promotion, and wellness initiatives across academic, government, and healthcare sectors. Dr. Gittens has led and supported international public health projects in Latin America, Ukraine, and Sub-Saharan Africa, advancing community-based health education and capacity-building efforts. As an Adjunct Instructor and Public Health Practitioner, he integrates global perspectives with evidence-based strategies to prepare learners for impactful careers in public and community health. His work emphasizes cultural humility, inclusion, and competency-based learning that empower diverse adult learners to drive sustainable change in their communities.
