Arjen is an Instructional Designer who designs engaging and relevant learning experiences for students of Calbright College. Before joining Calbright College, Arjen worked as a lecturer at Saxion University of Applied Sciences in the Netherlands from 2007 till 2016. He designed and facilitated courses for the academy of Marketing and International Business. After 2016, Arjen worked as a learning & development specialist in corporate business environments where he designed and facilitated leadership, management, and interpersonal skills training courses. Arjen has a master's degree in Business Science, has been a freelance graduation supervisor for more than 100 students, and is a published co-author of two editions of the book "Research methodology" for the Dutch and Belgian higher education market.
How can I make learning content accessible, digestible, relevant, and enjoyable for every student to master the skills they need to be successful? That's the question that gets me up in the morning (and sometimes keeps me up at night).
